Q: Did God really destroy Sodom & Gomorrah because of homosexuality?
A: NO! God destroyed the cities because the people were corrupt, rude and inhospitable, not for being gay. (Ezekiel 16:49)
Q: Do you feel abandoned or hated by God because you are gay?
A:
The Lord your God is merciful, God will not abandon or destroy you. (Deut. 4:31)
Q: How can I get to know God?
A: If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved! (Romans 10:9)
Q: Did God send a disease to destroy the GLBT community?
A: NO! God loves us and sent Jesus to Earth to save us, not to condemn us. (John 3:16-17)
Q: Is it possible to be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered and a Christian?
A: YES! Scholars have known for a long time that the Biblical references most often used to condemn lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgendered persons (Genesis 19:5, Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13, Romans 1:26-27, I Corinthians 6:9 and I Timothy 1:9-10) are being taken out of context and misapplied. God loves us and created us just the way we are.
